Promaster has been around for more than sixty years, and that is sixty years of manufacturing high-quality products with impeccable customer service. One of my favorite accessories to buy from them is their tripods.

Each tripod can withstand long-time use due to its quality materials. They are lightweight, so they are easy to haul around during photography trips. And my favorite part is they are affordable!

Here is a list of my favorite Promaster Tripods:

Promaster SP528 Professional Tripod Kit with Head - Specialist Series

Engineered with professional photographers in mind, the Promaster SP528K Specialist tripod does well when you need to mount your camera in challenging terrain or situations. When closed, the tripod is compact and easy to pack.

Another great feature to see this tripod is the red touch points on the body that you can easily spot even when you are in poor light. The PROlocks help ensure the tripod legs stay in place, so they aren't wobbly.

Promaster Hitchhiker Convertible Tripod

Not only does the Hitchhiker have a creative and catchy name, but it is also perfect for traveling. This little guy works great with cameras and smartphones while shooting photographs and videos.

The Hitchhiker has an easy-to-use smartphone clamp that works well with something light. It amazingly folds down to a small size that can easily fit into your camera bag and even a coat pocket.

Promaster Scout series SC423K Tripod Kit with Head

The Scout Tripod is best for the adventurous photographer. You can achieve multiple angles with its 4-section legs, even while on uneven ground. It is also equipped with a retractable weight in the center to ensure stability during windy weather and rugged terrain.

The ball head is smooth like butter making it easy to maneuver around. You can also use its dovetail quick-release system compatible with several accessories.

Tripod Features:
• A great maximum working height of 70 1/4" but can also go as low as 6 1/4".
• It is nice and light at only 3 lbs but can carry 11 lbs.

Promaster XC-M 522K Professional Tripod Kit with Head (Multiple colors)

The XC-M 522K is the swiss army knife of the tripods. You will have so much more than just a tripod - you will get a modular system. This tripod will give you transverse 5-section legs that can move 180°, and the tripod's legs can adjust when nestled on uneven ground.

The dual-action ball head can move independently, giving you the ultimate control while keeping your camera steady. Its memory lock works excellent for constant tension.

The modular part of this tripod makes it unforgettable. All three legs can be removed, making it a helpful monopod. You can also attach extension and macro legs to extend further how tall your tripod can reach.

The possibilities are endless, even with this tripod's feet. You can remove the rubber bottoms and swap them for spikes that can work better in a sandy or snowy environment.

The second tripod on my list is also part of the Promaster modular system. The XC-M 528 also has transverse 5-section legs that can reach a working height of16 1/2". These long legs can also adjust independently when on uneven ground.

Although this tripod has a long reach, it is very compact when folded down, which makes it a great travel companion. A tripod with a reversible center column with a weight hook gives you the stability you need.

Since this tripod is also part of the modular series, it can be completely customizable to meet your photography needs.

Promaster XC-M 525CK Professional Carbon Fiber Tripod (Black) - Kit with Head

The last tripod on my list is also part of the modular system, and it is almost the same as the Promaster 522. The Promaster XC-M 525CK is an incredibly light carbon fiber tripod.

The 525 strength and resilience that is hard to match. You can shoot any landscape in any environment without the hassle or worry of your tripod failing you. It is an ideal tripod for travel and adventure because of its weight and all-terrain feet that are easily replaceable. The all-terrain feet can withstand uneven ground, including sand and rocks.
