To transform a white or silver umbrella into a softbox, Profoto's extra-large Umbrella Diffuser can be pulled over the front of the umbrella. It produces a light that is softer and more diffuse. Additionally, the diffuser will reduce your light output by approximately 1.5 stops. The extra-large shallow and deep White and Silver umbrellas are compatible with this model.
