The Nanlite Alien 150C is a powerful RGBWW LED panel light that can be set up in seconds with its included pop-up softbox, delivering a surprising amount of light with impressive throw. It can run on AC power, V-Mount batteries, or external 24V sources. Weighing just 7.9 lb (3.6 kg), it is 13% lighter than comparable panels with similar power and features IP55 water resistance. The Alien 150C can be mounted on lightweight stands with the separate Control Unit positioned low for easy access. It offers versatile control options, including CRMX LumenRadio, Bluetooth, 2.4G, and DMX/RDM. The package includes useful accessories such as an eggcrate grid, diffusions, a stand clamp, a rain cover for the Control Unit, and a carrying case. A 2-year limited warranty is provided, extendable to 3 years with online registration, and support is available in the USA. At full power, the Alien 150C outputs an impressive 13,050 lux (1,212 fc) at 1 meter with 5600K, and can be dimmed in fine 0.1% increments. The padded carrying case protects the light while remaining lightweight, and the panel is ready to use with the softbox already installed, requiring just a few seconds to open. The yoke allows for 360° rotation with a single-sided stepless lock, and metal barndoors (sold separately) are available with part number BD-AL150. Despite its brightness, the Alien 150C is only 3.7" (9.5 cm) thick at its widest point, making it suitable for both tight spaces and larger sets. |
