The circular 7-blade aperture helps create beautiful background blur, while the Canon Optical Image Stabilizer system provides up to four stops of shake correction. This lens also features a stepping motor (STM) for smooth, continuous AF during video recording, plus a rear focusing system and high speed CPU for improved AF performance.
