Camera control
Responding to user feedback from the original Shinobi, camera control is now available with the addition of a USB-C connection. You can adjust white balance, lens aperture, shutter speed/angle, and ISO using specially designed on-screen sliders. A red edge display indicates when the camera is recording internally, whether triggered by the camera or through the Shinobi II.
At launch, the Shinobi II will support camera control for most Canon, Panasonic, and Sony mirrorless cameras over USB-C, as well as all Z CAM E2 series models (with a LANC cable, sold separately). Future firmware updates will add support for cameras from Fujifilm, Nikon, OM System, and SIGMA.

Cable locking
Atomos has created a durable locking system to ensure a secure grip on connected HDMI and USB-C cables, and the Shinobi II comes with a special bracket to support this feature. When used with Atomos locking cables (sold separately), it offers the most robust capture cable system available today. The Shinobi II is also fully compatible with standard, non-locking cables.
